History of Stone Cold
"Stonecold", the 1980’s Jazz/Rock fusion band
from Boston. The band was started in the Boston area by Scott
Steinetz and Matthew Quinn and featured fellow Berklee students
Stuart Hamm on bass; Steve Wilkes on drums; Patty Unaitis vocals;
Bruce Arnold E. guitar; Matt Quinn keyboards and Scott Steinetz
clarinet. "This band was a culmination of the times:", said
Scott Steinetz, "We wanted to make money but the musicians really felt
they had to be challenged as well. As a result we focused on the
interesting stuff, so we remained challenged (but) poor".
